Return & Refund Policy - MOONSMC®
Thank you for shopping with MOONSMC® - Moons Motorcycle Culture. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, the details below explain eligibility, timeframes, fees, return shipping requirements, and how to start the process.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, uninstalled if applicable, and in the same condition you received them.
- Items must be in the original packaging with all tags, parts, manuals, hardware, and accessories.
- You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase, such as your MOONSMC order number.
- Sale / “On Sale” items are final sale and cannot be returned.
2. Delivery Date Estimates
All delivery dates shown on the website, during checkout, in order confirmations, or in shipping confirmations are estimates only and are not guarantees.
Once a package leaves MOONSMC’s facility and is in possession of the carrier, including USPS or any other shipping carrier, delivery timing is the responsibility of the carrier. Carrier delays, including but not limited to weather, holidays, high-volume shipping periods, routing delays, and operational disruptions, do not constitute automatic grounds for refund, return, cancellation, or chargeback.
3. Return Window
- Standard return period: 14 days from the date your order is delivered.
- If more than 14 days have passed since delivery, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
4. How to Start a Return
- Email info@moonsmc.com with your order number and whether you want a refund or exchange.
- Wait for return instructions from MOONSMC before shipping the item back.
- Pack the item securely in the original packaging with all included parts, hardware, instructions, and accessories.
- Include a short note in the box with:
- Order #
- Name
- Refund or Exchange request
- Exchange details, if applicable
5. Return Shipping Instructions

- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75.
- Returns valued at $150 or more should be shipped with signature confirmation to ensure proof of delivery to MOONSMC.
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable and may be deducted from your refund if applicable.
- Only USPS returns are accepted. Packages sent via UPS or FedEx may be refused and returned to you.
6. Restocking Fee
- A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds for returned items.
- Damaged, used, installed, incomplete, or non-original condition returns may be denied or refunded at a reduced amount.
7. Refunds
Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and email you to confirm whether your refund is approved.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days after inspection.
- Refunds may be reduced by the applicable 20% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping charges.
- If you haven’t received your refund, please check with your credit card company and bank first, as processing times can vary.

8. Exchanges
If you want to exchange an item:
- The item must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns: unused, uninstalled, complete, and in original packaging.
- Include exchange details in the box, such as size, color, variant, or the exact item you want.
- Exchanges are processed once the original item is received and inspected.
- Exchange shipments may take additional time depending on product availability and your location.
9. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase at no cost, provided the order has not already shipped.
- After 24 hours, cancellations are at the discretion of MOONSMC and may incur a restocking fee.
- Special Order items cannot be canceled or refunded after the 24-hour window.
10. Disputes & Chargebacks
MOONSMC requires customers to attempt resolution directly through our Support team before initiating a chargeback. Customers may reach support at info@moonsmc.com.
Initiating a chargeback in place of following this Return Policy does not exempt customers from the terms outlined herein, including the 14-day return window, the requirement to ship returns back with valid tracking, the 20% restocking fee, and the exclusion of Return to Sender as a valid return method.
Chargebacks filed for items that are delivered, as confirmed by carrier tracking, installed, used, or not returned according to this Return Policy will be disputed. In addition, MOONSMC reserves the right to recover damages caused by chargebacks filed in bad faith, including but not limited to the transaction amount, chargeback fees assessed by our payment processor, administrative costs, and any additional remedies available under applicable law.
Customers acknowledge that the chargeback process resolves payment disputes only and does not determine possession or return of merchandise. Customers who file chargebacks while retaining MOONSMC merchandise may be pursued separately for the value of the goods.
